Today Air Scouts wear a blue shirt and a Air Scout beret in addition to the standard trousers and belt. The Official Air Scout uniform for 10th Chippenham Air Scouts Troop is:
- Light blue long sleeve shirt or blouse
- Navy blue activity trousers, smart navy blue trousers or black school trousers
- Group scarf and woggle
- Leather Scout belt and buckle
- Air Scout beret with cloth badge.
- Sturdy dark shoes / Hiking boots
- A pen and small pad of paper

- Online auction sites: there is a regular supply of new and used uniform items on auction sites (eBay, etc.) although air scout blue shirts / blouses can be rare. Before buying, check on photos that the items carry the new stylised fleur de lys logo. RAF officer berets are easy to find. There is also a regular supply of new or used navy activity trousers.
